Watch out! Asher is now a mobile quadraped. Yes, you should be scared. He may be slow moving, but once this kid has his eye set on something you better not get in his way. He has been known to hurdle Mom's body in one lunge, grab the calculator right out from dad's nose, and take off with cell phones before you can say snuffleupagus (can you believe the spell check didn't pick that one up-weird). He is a master of floor swimming, tippy toe scooting, and army crawl wiggling, and is working on the advanced skill of hands- and- knees- one- leg-toe- scooting. He has single handedly forced the evacuation of interesting items off the lowest shelves of the bookcase, and was last seen tipping over the garbage can. Beware, he is coming to a cupboard near you!
Here is the latest footage of the quadraped, just so you know what to watch out for. Don't worry their not very long ;)

Your son is amazing and you are so smart to film him crawling. I wish I had done the same for his father, and then I would show it to you. Oh well, we didn't have a movie camera at the time.
Yeah!!! Asher is crawling/scooting/propelling himself forward with his toe!!! :) Horray for Asher! Tell him that his aunt is very proud of him and that i love him lots and lots! Just the fact that he is moving makes him seem like tons and tons older - i wish i could be there and goosh him!
Love you Tons Heath (and Asher and Jon!)
Um...did you notice that he understood you both times...he had great, great language understanding skills, Heather. I am so impressed. He had a choice between the cell phone and the ball, and when you asked him to get the ball, he went for the ball...he was headed in the other direction when you told him to get the cell phone, and the little kid changed direction and headed for the cell phone...this kind of comprehension without the crawling tells me he understands so, so much and has for a while. Wow.
Love,
Mommy T.
