Today at the store a lady asked me if I thought that my son would have those "big beautiful blue eyes" forever, because if so "he is gunna drive those girls crazy!" I thanked her but wasn't too surprised by the compliment because it seem like EVERYONE we meet tells us how beautiful his blue eyes are- because they are, if you don't believe me click here. But THEN she turned to me and said, "Wow, they are just like your eyes, you have the same blue eyes." Then I was REALLY flattered, because while Jon tells me that Asher has my eyes no one else has said so. It made me feel pretty.
I've decided that having a baby does wonders for your self esteem. This is because whenever someone tells you that your baby is beautiful or adorable, they might as well be telling YOU that you are beautiful and adorable. Where do they think that those dashing good looks and beautiful smile come from!
By the way, this is just about the most AMAZING tire swing I've ever seen. Jon took LOTS of pictures of it so that one day he can make one.

Cool tire swing...and yes those blue eyes are gorgeous...your mommy and your Grandpa Max will agree. Grandpa Max and I used to stare into eachothers eyes and tell eachother how beautiful those blue eyes are...he had such deep, deep blue eyes...and then we would laugh.")
