Let Me Introdcue You To...

Miss Edith Rose
(we are going to call her by her middle name-- Rose)

born at home on

Saturday, August 29th

at 7:45 am

after a super fast labor
(only 3 hours from start to finish-- yes it was intense, but more on that later)

8 lbs 8 oz
21 inches

Perfect
in
every way

Oh, and note about my previous post--
I wrote it the night before (the 28th) and had it scheduled to post the next afternoon.
I had NO idea that I would be going into labor the next morning!
So just in case you were wondering
I didn't actually write a blog post 3 hours after my baby was born :)

Congratulations!!! Glad to hear everything went well. 3 hours!?!?! I must admit I am somewhat jealous, but not about it being intense. :) If I get 2 girls, my second will have the middle name Rose. (Ya, I've got girl names all picked out, I think that's why I keep having boys. lol)

Congrats! What a little cutie! Crazy that she has more hair than our 7-month-old! Best of luck with the upcoming days and weeks.

Rosey the Riveter! A strong woman just like her mommy!!!! Way to go Heather! Can't wait to hear about the birthing experience in more detail. Congratulation to your new family of four!

(And sorry to already give your daughter a nickname...not my place. Just couldn't hepl but draw the correlation...some overalls and a bandana might make for a cute Halloween costume though...:) Just sayin'...)

Congrats jon and heather. She looks beautiful. She definantly looks like a maurer. She looks a lot like your mother, and somewhat like grandma too. Love you guys.

Congratulations! She is so beautiful. While I win for fastest (45) minute labor. You totally win for bravest! TWICE! And I think you might win for most attractive-est as well.

Congratulations! She looks so sweet! I can't believe you did it with no midwife! That is so cool! It sounds like number two delivery went even better than number one! I'm so happy for you!

I forgot to tell you: love her name! When I first read it I was surprised because I remember you telling me you wanted a baby girl named "Rose" and I didn't remember you mentioning the name Edith. Now it makes sense! I love both those names (Lance's mom thought for the first day that Eden's name was Edith because she didn't quite catch it on the phone)!
