Jon and I went on a painting spree this last weekend and got a little crazy with the red paint. Our once ugly yellowish door is now RED
Our rusty old mail box (that use to look like the pole-- which will get painted WHITE soon) is now RED
Our new chicken coop/ workshop that Jon has been working on all summer is now a lovely shade of barn RED
and who knows maybe Baby Bird will carry on the trend and decide to be born with RED hair. It runs in the family. My great grandmother had red hair, but my grandmother didn't, my mother has red hair, but none of her daughters do, so maybe the RED hair just skips a generation. I'll let you know in about a week-- or maybe two... hopefully just one ;)

Fun! Looks like you guys are keeping super busy. Your front door is my favorite--so cute!
LOVE the red! Its my favorite color to see on houses- somehow it always seems to say to me "Welcome to my comfortable, warm and happy family! We're glad to see you today. Please come in!". I'm so happy for your new Baby Bird. Is that going to be her name?:)
I love your door!!!! Red is one of Scott and I's favorite colors! So classy!
Well, there is nothing better than a red headed child! Take it from one who knows! :) Obviously, I am a fan of red hair...
Just wanted to wish you good luck! I will be sending happy thoughts your way and hope everything goes perfectly!
I also wanted to say I was totally impressed and inspired by your "mother shower." [thanks for sharing] I've been planning a shower for my friend--she plans to go natural--and I asked her if she would be interested in having a blessing way with her mama and a few others about an hour before the ladies from the ward arrive . She loved the idea, and I am so excited to do it for her. I want to ask you more about it later; the shower will probably be in October.
not sure if you'll see this comment, but I love your chicken shed and all things red.
