I just looked over at the little floating baby counter on my side bar (which, yes I realize is mildly creepy-- according to my brother:) and realized that it says I only have 48 DAYS left till baby bird makes her entrance into this world. Wow. This pregnancy has really flown by. Granted, for the last month I've been counting down the days till my next podiatrist appointment rather than my midwife appointment (sidenote: I have an appointment tomorrow to see if I can get out of the walking cast-- keep your fingers, toes, and anything else you can crossed for me!) I guess that is one good thing I can say for the broken foot-- that it has helped take my mind off of being pregnant just enough that I haven't started to feel too impatient or anxious... yet. But I am starting to get to that "no matter what I wear or do I feel like a whale and I can't bend over" stage of pregnancy and I swear that my belly can't get any bigger-- but I know that it will. All in all this has been a wonderful pregnancy (despite the broken foot and the bad allergies) and I am starting to get excited about bringing a new life to this world.
This is short and sweet. I was trying to get him to say "baybee boord" but instead he did the sign for it. I didn't even know he knew the sign that well. Smart kid.

Heather, you look great! I am so excited for you guys! What a great big brother Asher will be! He is a cutie :)
Cute, cute, cute! You look cute, Asher looks cute, and it is so cute that he is excited and interested in "baby bird". Eden was a lot like that--wanting to kiss the baby in mom's tummy, wanting to see him (also at inopportune moments), and thinking there was a baby in her tummy (she still sometimes thinks there is). Good luck with teaching him to be soft. I think it is a challenge for all two-year-olds. We are still working on it 7 months later. Eden will be incredibly sweet to Noah one moment and then sitting on him the next. :)
My Kate rubs my tummy, too, saying "baby." How sweet! I love it. She will sign "baby" sometimes, too. I can't bend over either. I think you are looking good! It is exciting, isn't it?
Heather, you look so cute! I can't believe you're that far along already!!! It is crazy for me to think that that could be me.
