You Know You're a Mother When...

The song you've had stuck in your head all week is from Sesame Street... a really fantastic Sesame Street song sung by Feist.

Oh, and for all the other mothers of toddlers out there if you haven't ever been to the Sesame Street website it is really fantastic...it can keep a toddler entertained for at least 15 mins, which is an eternity when you are trying to make dinner.

Hahaha that's really funny. You have heard the original of that song right? What makes it even funnier is that you can't really understand what she says in the original song so she might as well be singing about counting to four :).

We have watched this one a few times too. ;) We love the Sesame Street YouTube channel too. The first time I heard Jefferson make an "l" sound was when he was singing the la la la part of the Elmo Song! I try to get him to sing that part of the song and then put the 'l' sound into other words.

The song I always get stuck in my head is the "I don't want to live on the Moon" song that Ernie sings with Aaron Neville. That one never goes away.

This is one of our favorites, but I was going to say the aaron neville "don't want to live on the moon" is our #1, like elesa said. Just only check it out (if you haven't seen it) if you want it stuck in your head :)
